I think this is the best block plane made today. I've owned mine for over 20 years and just love it. this is an earlier example, likely late-1990s. It's in excellent condition with little evidence of use. This one comes with a spare blade which I could picture being useful if you want to keep one sharpened to a higher angle. It retails for $187 new with the additional blade adding another $50 to the cost. $205

This plane dates to 1935 based on the features and the date code on the blade It's clean, has minimal wear, and will make an excellent worker. It'll serve well as a jointer for all but the longest stock. $75
