This is a near-mint example with zero wear or damage. It works flawlessly. The box is included, though it's pretty much destroyed. The label is good though. A nice little working drill for small work. $35

This is an excellent example in perfect working order. It's a "100 Plus" era tool with most of the original decal on the handle. The chuck runs smoothly with almost zero runout. The chuck jaws are perfect. An excellent worker. $35

This brace is marked with the patent date March 31, 1857 on the frame. The "March 31" is definite. The 1857 is less clear, but I'm 90% sure on it. There are a couple of brace patents on March 31, 1857, but neither matches this brace. Furthermore, there are no other March 31 brace patents shown in Pearson that are anywhere near this year. The chuck is somewhat unique. The rest of the brace is pretty normal for this age- nothing special stands out to me. It's in excellent condition, unrestored and with a beautiful, natural patina. $35

This is a classic Sheffield-style brace. The beech frame is in excellent condition with no cracks. There's a deep scratch near the head that may look like a crack but is not. The head is rosewood. It is free of checks and has a beautiful color. The chuck spring is very tight. The chuck itself is cast brass with an interesting casting flaw- a small void that's easy to spot. It has an overall early look to it, though there's no maker's mark. This type of brace is both beautiful and functional. It holds bits and tools with tapered square shanks. $50

This is a high quality brace made by EC Atkins in Indianapolis, IN. It's n excellent condition, clean with perfect handles. It works smoothly and has minimal wear. It's an excellent general-purpose bit brace $35

This example has a dark, even patina on the frame. I can't see a maker's mark, but I haven't cleaned it. The chuck spring is still strong and the lever is intact. It's usable, and would be fun to use with center bits or similar. $25
