This plane cuts a small 1in wide by 1/2in deep quirk ogee and bead profile, a somewhat hard-to-find but quite useful shape. It is a well-made plane in excellent condition. It has very little wear. The blade looks factory-new. The boxing is dead straight and has zero wear. The maker's mark was removed, unfortunately. An excellent worker regardless. $35

mp6032 Lignum-Boxed Quirk Ogee and Bevel Molding Plane
This plane was made by Henry G. White in Philadelphia. Henry was the orphaned son of George white and the nephew of the more famous Israel White. This plane has lignum boxing which is unusual outside of the Philadelphia area. It cuts a 1 34in wide by 5/8in deep quirk ogee and bevel- a lovely profile. The plane is clean and crisp and shows only light wear. The blade looks factory-fresh. An outstanding example that could definitely be used. $50
This plane was made by Richard Nelson in London between 1824-1852. It cuts a small 3/8in bead, which is ideal for case and cabinet work. This is a high-quality British slipped side bead plane in excellent working order. The blade is clean. The boxing is dead straight. An excellent worker. $30
This plane has no maker's mark, just owner's marks. It looks early 20th century British to me, maybe Marples. It's decent quality, usable but nowhere near the peak of British quality. It has a decent blade with plenty of life left. It's a decent, usable plane but straight rabbet planes aren't common. $28
This plane is well-used but still has a lot of working life ahead of it. It's one of those British planes with obvious hand marks on it from old tallow or oil. It has a nice long, clean blade free of pitting. The mouth is decent. The sole has light wear. It's a solid worker. $28
This plane has light wear but no damage. The boxing is straight. The blade is clean. It's a solid worker in a useful size for case and cabinet work. $26
This is a high-quality plane in excellent condition. It's clean, crisp, and has perfect boxing. The blade has zero pitting and looks barely used. There's a maker's mark that I can't read. It will make an excellent worker. $24
This plane has an overstamped maker's mark that I can't read. It looks mid-19th-century British to me. It cuts a 5/8-inch wide by 1/2-inch deep reverse ogee. It has some wear but is still usable. The blade is clean and has plenty of life left. $30

This plane was made by Simms of London between 1813 and 1834. It's in excellent condition but it's seen a lot of use. The blade is on the short side and the wedge has minor wear from a hammer. Otherwise, it's crisp, clean, and in excellent working order. It's a useful 1/2in size for case and cabinet work. $24
This plane has some interesting design aspects that make me think it may be user-made. It cuts a 2in wide by 1in deep reverse ogee. It has a massive blade which is clean and appears to be recently honed. The plane has some wear but is still usable. $25
This plane was made by the Saybrook, CT planemaker John Denison in the mid-19th century. The plane has night wear but no damage. The blade is in great shape. It's a perfectly usable plane in a larger size. $15

mp5914 Ohio Tool Co. 1/4in Side Bead Molding Plane
This is a typical Ohio plane, not the best quality but it'll work, especially if you choose the right stock. It cuts a small 1/4in bead, a very popular profile. It has some light wear but nothing that will prevent it from working. the blade is especially clean. A solid worker, nothing collectible at all. $24
This is a Scioto Works plane made by Ohio. It's a decent quality plane that's usable but has some wear. The boxing is still straight if a bit worn. The blade is long and clean, free of pitting. It's a very desirable size and should be a good worker once tuned up. $26
