Peace's patented Nest of Saws. Featuring a patented cam-lock device to hold the blade to the handle. This example (Thanks Brian!) is missing the locking device.

Here's an example of a William McNiece patented pad saw, produced by Harvey Peace. The cast iron body is clearly marked with the June 24, 1879 patent date, and the blade is etched "HARVEY PEACE". The blade is retractable and held in place with a turn screw.
